ICHIJU ISSAI at IROHA exhibition
May. 2025

We had the opportunity to assist with a special Japanese culinary event "ICHIJU ISSAI” presented by misomaru,  a concept deeply rooted in the use of authentic Japanese ingredients. The event was held as part of IROHA NYC’s pop-up, who selects all plates for the upcoming luxury hotel, the Waldorf Astoria.

In collaboration with Wako, a provider of authentic flower arrangements for Manhattan’s cafés and restaurants, we hosted a kimono flower arrangement workshop. Twelve guests participated, creating their own beautiful arrangements while enjoying a relaxing and immersive experience.

New York Travel & Adventure show
Jan. 2025

At New York’s largest travel expo, under the commission of the Kyoto City Tourism Association, we coordinated four kimono models to represent the four seasons of Kyoto. Through this showcase, we highlighted the beauty of Kyoto throughout the year.

Dec. 2024

We organized a kimono photo walk along Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue, beautifully decorated for Christmas. The sight of a large group dressed in kimono was truly spectacular, drawing admiration and praise from New Yorkers and tourists.

Kimono in THE MET
May. 2025

Wearing a kimono, we visited New York's most famouse museum, the  Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

In the Japanese art gallery, we lead a mini tour about how traditional kimono and Japanese art are connected.

epicnow. nyc
Jan. 2025

We assisted with the launch event for a collaboration between Epicnow.nyc and Icca, showcasing the fusion of VR and dining. Dressed in a kimono, We provided matcha and introduced the spirit of Japanese hospitality.

Japan Society New Year Event
Jan. 2025

At the New Year’s event held at Japan Society, we assisted with serving matcha. Offering matcha in a traditional Japanese tatami room while dressed in kimono allowed guests to experience the refined elegance of Japanese culture.

Wagashi making class in kimono

In collaboration with Annn, a New York-based maker of authentic Japanese sweets and anko, we hosted an event of making traditional wagashi while dressed in kimono.

The handmade daifuku, a first-time experience even for many Japanese guests, was a huge hit.
